EMT 930, serial no. 15029

Complete superb stereo working system near mint.

For sale a wonderful and very rare in this condition pre-owned legendary EMT 930 professional stereo studio turntable, serial no. 15029 from September 1969, complete with NOS (new old stock) EMT 929 tonearm, EMT T headshell with new Denon DL-103 MC cartridge and a new 139st b stereo phono tube equalizer amplifier.

After more then 40 years this EMT 930 set is still in original state, no restorations or modifications are made, no repaint, it’s only completely cleaned, checked and adjusted to factory new specifications and some critical parts are exchanged, for instance:

* new rubber (vulcolan) intermediate (idler) wheel,
* new motor capacitor set,
* new motor suspension set,
* new neon lamp for strobe illumination,
* new felt ring for braking disk,
* new ball main bearing,

Also the turntable is upgraded with the new 139st b power supply upgrade kit to fulfil the possibility of using the new 139st b stereo phono tube equalizer amplifier in this EMT 930. The new 139st b (which is an exact replica of the legendary EMT 139st b) stereo phono tube equalizer amplifier is equipped with tested and selected vintage TELEFUNKEN ECC81 & ECC83 smooth plate tubes.

The complete system is for 220VAC - 50Hz mains voltage (can be converted to 110VAC - 50HZ), is in superb working condition, appearance is near mint and comes with mains power cable, audio output cable with Neutrik XLR-3 connectors, bottle (50 ccm) of special EMT bearing oil, a copy of the original EMT 930 user/service manual and EMT 139st b technical information, a wonderful black velvet dust cover with embroidered EMT logo, a PC CD-ROM with lots of EMT information regarding the EMT 927, EMT 930, EMT 139st and EMT 139st b and a PC CD-ROM with scanned EMT Courier/Kurier 1 – 46.
