EMT 930, serial no. 2120


Complete superb mono working system near mint.

For sale a wonderful and, very rare in this condition, pre-owned legendary and early EMT 930 professional mono studio turntable, serial no. 2120 from 1956, complete with a legendary EMT 139A mono MC (Moving Coil) phono tube equalizer amplifier, serial no. 6346 from 1961, an Ortofon RF 229 (stereo) tonearm as well as two early Ortofon/EMT mono MC cartridges OFD 25 and OFD 65.

The EMT 930 is completely cleaned, checked and adjusted to factory new specifications, the upper part of the chassis is re-sprayed in original “hammered” medium-grey and re-screened with the original symbols/text and some critical parts are exchanged, for instance:

* new vulcolan intermediate (idler) wheel,
* new rubber suspension main frame,
* new felt auxiliary plate,
* new motor suspension set,
* new ball main bearing,
* new felt ring for braking disk.

The complete system is for 220VAC - 50Hz mains voltage (can be converted to 110VAC - 50HZ), is in superb working condition, appearance is near mint and comes with mains power cable, audio output cable with Neutrik XLR-3 connectors, bottle (50 ccm) of special EMT bearing oil, a copy of the original EMT 930 user/service manual, a wonderful red velvet dust cover with embroidered EMT logo, a PC CD-ROM with lots of information regarding the EMT 927, EMT 930, EMT 139, EMT 139st and a PC CD-ROM with scanned EMT Courier/Kurier 1 – 46.
