EMT 930, serial no. NOS 2106

Complete superb stereo working system near mint.

For sale a wonderful and very rare in this condition, pre-owned legendary EMT 930 professional stereo broadcast studio turntable, serial no. NOS 2106, complete with Acoustical AB (All Balance) tonearm with Shure M75 stereo MM cartridge and underbuild professional stereo MM phono RIAA pre-amplifier with balanced line outputs.

The NOS EMT 930’s were custom made by EMT around 1970 for the NOS (Nederlandse Omroep Stichting – Dutch Broadcast Corporation) when the Dutch national radio switched FM radio broadcasting from mono to stereo.
Basicly this workhorse is an EMT 930 with some customized modifications, a professional Acoustical AB (All Balance) tonearm and a state-of-the-art underbuild, NOS developed and manufactured, professional stereo MM phono RIAA pre-amplifier with balanced outputs at line level (+6dB).
In cooperation, EMT and NOS manufactured around 250 pcs. of this special EMT 930 for use in all Dutch national radio - and television broadcast studios in The Netherlands.

This EMT 930 set is completely cleaned, checked and adjusted to factory new specifications and some critical parts are exchanged, for instance:

* new vulcolan intermediate (idler) wheel,
* new motor capacitor set,
* new ball for main bearing,
* new felt ring for braking disk,
* new lamp for pick-up illumination,
* new center adapter for 45 RPM discs.

The complete system is for 220VAC - 50Hz mains voltage, is in superb working condition, appearance is near mint and comes with:

* mains power cable,
* audio output cable with Neutrik XLR-3 connectors,
* bottle (50ccm) of special EMT bearing oil,
* a copy of the original EMT 930 user/service manual,
* a copy of all NOS technical information and circuit diagrams,
* a wonderful red velvet dust cover with embroidered EMT logo,
* a PC CD-ROM with lots of information regarding the EMT 927 and EMT 930,
* a PC CD-ROM with scanned EMT Courier/Kurier 1 – 46.
